About Us - Tennis Trainers

Nathan and Giselle Martin have been at the forefront of worldwide, tennis fitness innovation and tennis fitness training for the past 20 years. They have helped players of all levels – from Wimbledon champions to social hitters and school kids – reach their potential through improved physical performance, injury reduction and ongoing education. The ‘Martin Method’, a brand name in the world of tennis fitness trainers, takes the experience and knowledge gleaned from working with athletes like Lleyton Hewitt, Sam Stosur, Martina Navratilova, Jennifer Capriati, Svetlana Kuznetsova and Monica Seles and applies it to all players of all standards. It’s a complete tennis fitness program, stretching from warm up and cool down routines to speed, agility, power, tennis footwork and much more. Nathan and Giselle have trained five world number one players and are based in Bondi, Sydney.

Nathan Martin - Strength and Conditioning Trainer

Nathan has worked on the ATP and WTA circuits since 1999, including a spell as head tennis trainer at the renowned Sanchez Casal tennis academy in Barcelona.

He worked with Lleyton Hewitt for over 10 years. He now dedicates his time to working with young emerging players including several top 100 ITF juniors and many nationally ranked players from around the globe.

Nathan sets training programs, mentors and guides players/parents/coaches through the developmental junior process.  He is a world renowned expert in this area. 

Giselle Martin - Strength and Conditioning Trainer

Giselle has worked on the WTA circuit since 1999, training and guiding Arantxa Sanchez, Martina Navratilova, Sam Stosur and Casey Dellacqua.

Giselle was part of the 2000 Sydney Olympic medical team, working with competing athletes. She has lectured in health education at numerous international schools and academies.

Giselle is one of the most experienced tennis fitness trainers globally and is regarded as the ultimate expert when it comes to tennis training and planning.

Dylan - Strength and Conditioning Trainer

Dylan was a professional athlete (rugby league). Dylan has always had a passion for Strength and Conditioning along with mentoring and developing young athletes. Over the past 5 years Dylan has been focused on working with developing young tennis players. Combining Dylan’s years of experience as an athlete and his passion for tennis has seen him become a well sought after tennis fitness trainer. 

Carlos Cuadrado - Tennis Coach

Carlos is a world-renowned tennis coach and a member of the Tennis Fitness Team. A former Spanish professional tennis player, winner of Roland Garros Juniors.  Carlos transitioned to a highly skilled tennis coach with a proven track record in developing tennis players at elite levels both nationally and internationally. Carlos coached WTA Top 10 players - Svetlana Kutznetsova, Daniela Hantuchova, Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova.

Aaron Zimmerman - Strength and Conditioning Trainer

Aaron is a world-renowned Strength and Conditioning Coach and a valuable member of the Tennis Fitness Team. Aaron has trained professional teams and professional athletes across many sports (rugby league, Tennis, Rugby union)

Aaron brings a wealth of knowledge both in the Private and Professional setting and has a passion for helping players and coaches take their skillset to the next level.

Lynsey Koch - Nutritionist

Lynsey Koch (BSc.Env.Sci/Nutr Grad.Dip Edu) is a fully qualified Nutritionist who lives on the Sunshine Coast, QLD. She is a biochemist at heart, always striving to educate clients as to how their anatomy and biochemistry work and how nutrition is truly the foundation of long-term health. She specializes in digestive and immune health along with sports performance. 

She works not only one-on-one with clients, but also does online consults.
